Yesterday St. Stan’s held the introductory meeting of its Lego Challenge Afterschool Club. Officially, the club begins in the new school year, however, students were given a taste of what they could look forward to! Each club member was given select Lego pieces and was asked to create as many different Fidget Spinners as they could using their Legos. Students were also challenged to create spinners that could spin for a longer period of time. Club members had an opportunity to test and revise their spinners to keep improving their time. Teachers and Club Moderators Susan Beechel and Maria Marrocco were thrilled with the variety of fidget spinners the students created.
