Student Dress CodePre-kindergarten children should wear neat, clean play clothes to school. As a rule, students in grades kindergarten through eight are required to wear a uniform to school. The uniform for boys in kindergarten through grade four consists of navy blue pleated pants, a white shirt, navy V-neck embroidered sweater vest, solid navy tie, navy socks and black laced uniform shoes. Boys in grades five through eight wear khaki pleated pants, a white oxford shirt, a navy V-neck pull over embroidered sweater vest, navy tie, navy socks and black laced uniform shoes. Vests must be worn between October 15 and May 15. Girls in kindergarten through grade four wear a navy pleated drop-waist jumper, white Peter Pan collar shirt, navy button down sweater (optional), navy knee hi socks or tights and navy uniform laced shoes. Girls in grades five through eight wear a navy pleated skirt, white oxford shirt, embroidered yellow V neck sweater vest, navy knee -hi socks or tights and navy laced uniform shoes. Gym Days: On gym days, students wear a regulation gym uniform to school. The gym uniform for both boys and girls consists of a uniform navy sweat suit imprinted with the school emblem, a white golf shirt with the school emblem which may be worn in place of, or under the sweat shirt, white cotton crew socks and sneakers. Special Days: On Dress Down Days, students come to school dressed casually. Clothing should be modest and functional, following the established guidelines. On Dress Code Days, students come to school dressed in the clothing of their choice, but with a more business or formal flair. |
